We had occasional clear skies last night but no aurora. I guess Wednesday is our best bet. It’s nice to sit inside where it’s warm while watching for aurora. Not usually the case, unfortunately. About an inch of new snow covers our shoveled area.
Big excitement when an otter looked in our window. I don’t know who was more surprised, him or Danielle. He quickly made his way back down to the water.
Sad to learn that our crates won’t be delivered until tomorrow. We were hoping to support a launch from Sweden but it’s hard to do without cameras. Since they are out for bad weather, looks like we wouldn't have missed anything.
We’ve been collecting hefty rocks from the beach, careful to only choose rocks without any critters attached. We will use them to weigh down our tripods, once we get tripods.
Low tide reveals all sorts of hardy creatures.
