Crate delivery day!  The truck never would have made it to the house so we met part way and it took a couple trips moving the crates in the back of the RAV4.  It's handy to have the unheated "winter room" for storage.  

We set up the tripods today and organized our camera control room space.  Tomorrow we will run the cables and test it all.  We need some more rocks for the bags we use to weigh down the tripods but that will have to wait for low tide.

There is another wing to the house that we will only use for the camera equipment, running the cables out through the window.  It's about the best setup you can imagine.  When you're done for the day, you can just put your gear on the heated floor in the main wing to dry out.  

The floors in the living area are heated but the bedrooms are not.  There is NO heat in the bedrooms.  It's very nice for sleeping.  It seems very practical to have heat on the floor rather than air blowing at you.

Sad to see the clouds moving in, since we're supposed to have some aurora tonight.  Hoping for only partly cloudy.
