The snow has stopped, for awhile. I went up to the camera site and couldn't take my usual route. Drifts were over my head. I was able to find a path around the other side of the building, with only drifts thigh high. With heavy snow and high winds predicted for this afternoon, I'm waiting to put the camera boxes back on until conditions are a little more favorable.
Not surprisingly, the Gjesvær road is closed today. My hopes of going to Honningsvåg to buy a SALAD are dashed.
